Transcend Information, Inc. was once again recognized at the Sports Activist Awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Sports on January 9. In 2025, Transcend received both the Bronze Award and the Long-Term Sponsorship Award, marking its 12th consecutive year of recognition. This achievement underscores Transcend’s long-standing and unwavering commitment to advancing sports development in Taiwan and supporting youth athletics. The Sports Activist Awards honor enterprises and organizations that demonstrate sustained support and active investment in the development of sports. Over the years, Transcend has continuously supported campus sports, grassroots baseball, and youth athletic programs—standing alongside young athletes from their first experiences on elementary school fields through to high school competition—becoming a reliable and deeply rooted pillar within Taiwan’s sports ecosystem.
Transcend began investing in youth sports development in 2011, starting with sponsorship of the HBL (High School Basketball League). Its support later expanded to nationwide junior and senior high school leagues organized by the Chinese Taipei School Sports Federation. Now entering its 15th year, Transcend has become a key contributor to the growth of campus athletics. In parallel, the company has long focused on strengthening grassroots baseball and addressing the shortage of sports resources in rural communities. Since launching the Rural Baseball Seed Program in 2015, Transcend has supported under-resourced areas through donations of uniforms and equipment, as well as by organizing baseball training camps to help students build stable and well-structured training environments. In recent years, the program has further expanded to include the development of women’s baseball, enabling more girls to grow through diverse forms of participation such as training, exchanges, and attending live games. To date, the Rural Baseball Seed Program has reached 27 elementary schools across 13 counties and cities in Taiwan, benefiting a total of 747 students. In addition, Transcend has supported the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup on three occasions and invited youth baseball teams from rural areas to attend the games in person, allowing children to experience the atmosphere of international competitions firsthand, broaden their sporting horizons, and deepen their passion for baseball.
