Why do DPB30-recorded videos display GPS data?

Category : Specification / Capacity / Performance

The hardware of the DrivePro Body 30 does not include a GPS module, and therefore, it does not have GPS functionality. However, when you use the DPB30 for recording and connect the DrivePro Body App to the body camera, the app will keep your mobile phone's location. This is why GPS information appears in the videos.

If you prefer not to have GPS data displayed in videos recorded by the DPB30, you can choose either of the following methods

1.In your mobile phone settings, deactivate the option "allow location access" of the DrivePro Body App.
2.In the DrivePro Body App settings, turn off the "GPS sync" feature.
